I am attracted to the figure and the aesthetic pleasure of the human body. As a subject, it has been explored throughout the entire history of art. Representing the figure, finding the likeness, specially trough oil painting is both exciting and relaxing for me.

By overlapping the figure to imaginary cityscapes executed with more fluid, uncontrolled mark making, which the eye cannot fully identify I try to represent my feelings.

My work is a visualization of my personal experience with migration and return as represented by mixed media paintings in oil and water based techniques.

Me atrae mucho la figura y el placer estético del cuerpo humano. Como tema se ha explorado a lo largo de toda la historia del arte. Para mí representar la figura, encontrar el parecido, especialmente en pintura al óleo es emocionante y relajante a partes iguales.

Mediante la superposición de la figura a paisajes urbanos imaginarios, ejecutados con marcas más fluidas y descontroladas, trato de representar mis sentimientos.

Mi trabajo es una visualización de mi experiencia personal con la migración y el retorno, representados en técnica mixta de pintura al óleo y técnicas al agua.
